During the warmer months, going to the
beach and the boardwalk would be one of the first choices if you
live in Upper Township as Ocean City and Sea Isle are just across
the bridges. Wildwood is not that far either.
You can drive a short distance to
shop in Cape May Court House or go to the malls in Egg Harbor
Township. Of course, there are museums surrounding the area.
There are parks all over Upper
Township. Basketball courts, baseball fields and playground
equipment can be found in every community. Because there is not
tremendous traffic in these towns, bicycle riding and walking is
favored. Avoiding the main streets is wise however.
One of the nice things that they have
in Petersburg is a new
skateboard park at
Amanda's Field. You must have pads for your
knees and elbows, wrist guards and you must wear a helmet ... all the normal
safety precautions.
