Skatepark Rules and Regulations

All users must skate and ride responsibly and obey the commands of the Township attendant

The skatepark shall be used for skateboards, inline skates, bicycles and scooters. NO motorized vehicles are permitted. Skateboarding and inline skating is prohibited on Township property surrounding the skateboard park, except on the bicycle and jogging path

No person shall be admitted to the skatepark who does not have an identification card

All users are required to wear shoes, helmets, knee pads, wrist guards and elbow pads. All equipment must be worn to the manufacturers recommendations. All users must skate safely, responsibly and act respectful of each other

No use of the park shall be permitted when equipment is wet or icy

The Township will determine from time to time the maximum capacity which may utilize the park

No glass, radios or pets shall be permitted within the enclosed park area

Backpacks, bags, jackets and other articles of clothing and personal belongings must be placed in an appropriate area, outside the enclosed park area, removed from the area where people skate, to avoid the possibility of injury

The use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco are prohibited. Additionally, profanity, abusive language and vandalism is prohibited

Bicycle usage at the park will be permitted during regular hour of operation on an alternating hourly basis. Skateboard and inline skates shall not use the park during this alternating hour set aside for bicycles. The attendant in charge shall determine the start of the alternating hourly usage for bicycles

Children under twelve (12) years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times

Skate park hours
The skate park at Amanda’s Field, along Route 50, in Petersburg, has established the following hours of operation:

  • every Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m

  • Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m

  • Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m

  • The park will be closed Mondays unless the Monday is a holiday

  • On “holiday” Mondays, the park will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m

Hours of operation during school hours and weather permitting may be subject to change. Hours subject to change

Skate park hours
The skate park at Amanda’s Field, along Route 50, in Petersburg, has established the following hours of operation: every Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The park will be closed Mondays unless the Monday is a holiday. On “holiday” Mondays, the park will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
